TEEN WARRIOR YOGA Ages 14-17

Teens will develop strength, flexibility, balance, focus and confidence to improve overall health and mind body connection. They will feel nourished and nurtured, providing them with tools to help balance their hormones, relieve tension, stress and anxiety.

CHAIR YOGA

This class is a true beginner’s class or for those returning to yoga and wishing to slow down their pace. Focus is on breathing, balance, stretching, and releasing tension. Chair yoga is included with easy poses that can be done at work or home. This slower paced class offers a gentler flow, which aids in releasing muscles with gentle ease. Meditation and restorative yoga poses are included in each class for centering and calming the nervous system.

Yoga for kids improves strength, flexibility and coordination.  Children learn how to focus and centre themselves with various breathing and visualisation techniques.  They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses and Yoga games.

Authentic yoga, with the support of a soft, aerial fabric hammock — to explore, refine, and advance traditional asana, both in the air and on the ground.  Challenge yourself, allow gravity to help strengthen your muscles while learning to balance and stabilise.

This is a class most people can do regardless of age and ability.  It is a slow paced and gentle class with focus on soothing and nourishing the body and mind.  Postures are modified to suit individual needs and abilities.  It is ideal for anyone with restricted mobility or flexibility, or anyone recovering from injury or illness. 

In this class your body will be totally supported in each posture with the use of props, bolsters, blankets and cushions.  Postures are held a little longer, allowing time to let go of deeply held stress, tension and fatigue.  Your body and mind will be soothed and your energy restored.  An hour of pure indulgence.

Our General Hatha Yoga class is suitable for beginners and intermediate students alike, as classes are small and variations are given to suit your level of comfort.  We restrict our class sizes so we can focus on the needs of every individual in our classes.  You will benefit from a variety of effective Yoga poses and breathing techniques designed to cultivate strength, resilience and increase vital energy.

Our Beginner's Yoga is an ideal class for those who have never done Yoga before.  It is a good introduction to Yoga, using basic and gentle stretches that work every part of the body.
